IES de Candás is a secondary school located on the central coast of Asturias. In recent years our students have been actively involved in various STEM activities and transnational collaboration projects. With this initiative, thanks to the support and technical backing of the Ibercivis Foundation’s Servet project, we aim to take our strategy one step further. To do so, we aim to achieve different objectives, from both a scientific and a technological development point of view: 1. On the one hand, we want to carry out an experimental study of the Earth’s atmosphere, analysing pressure, temperature and humidity and their variation with altitude, as well as dynamic phenomena. 2. We also intend to design, build and test a communications system between the probe and the ground station. 3.
