The #ServetX videos: Colegio Juan de Lanuza (Zaragoza)

In this video the team from Colegio Juan de Lanuza in Zaragoza tell us about the progress of their scientific project. The launch will take place in April.

About the experiment

The Colegio Juan de Lanuza in Zaragoza presents the following experiment, which combines data collection in the stratosphere with its artistic processing:

There are many programs that students can use to create visual solutions, such as Processing or Blender. With these programs, students can deliberately create scenes, characters, figures, animations… But always with an initial design purpose.

The first question we asked ourselves is How can we create ephemeral art that is created in a unique and variable way? Could these creations be licensed as NFTs? From there, and linking it to our Servet project, we thought it would be great to be able to send all the data received in real time not only to be analysed scientifically, but also to create generative art from that data.

In a way, what we want is to obtain a creative graphic representation of what is happening during the flight, so that we can say that our experiment will be creating art from the data it collects.
