In this video the team of students from Liceo Francés Molière, in Zaragoza, tell us about the progress of their scientific project, which will be launched to the stratosphere as part of the classroom citizen science project #SERVETVIII
Their experiment: “Space Tourist Kit”
Our project revolves around the comfort of the average tourist lucky enough to cross the stardust. It is clear that this tourist is not an astronaut, so we want to make sure our friend the tourist arrives in perfect condition. To be sure, we will have to determine what they would need to make the most of their stellar experience: we will have to check whether the tourist could get sick from g-forces, whether they would need breathing assistance, and of what kind. We will also check whether radiation would be a problem for them, over what period, and whether this could be avoided with sunscreen. And finally, we will determine whether this tourist could share their adventure on their mobile phone or whether they would need to protect it.
