In this video the team of students from IES de Candás, Candás, Asturias, tell us about the progress of their scientific project, which will be launched to the stratosphere as part of the classroom citizen science project #SERVETVIII
Their experiment: “Candasat”
We aim to achieve different objectives, from both a scientific and a technological development point of view: 1. On the one hand, we want to carry out an experimental study of the Earth’s atmosphere, analysing pressure, temperature and humidity and their variation with altitude, as well as dynamic phenomena. 2. We also intend to design, build and test a communications system between the probe and the ground station. 3. From a biology perspective, we want to check the effect of stratospheric conditions on the germination capacity of some seeds. https://candasat.wordpress.com/proyecto-servet/
