The launch is scheduled for around 13:00
The helium balloon will carry a capsule and could exceed 35,000 metres in altitude
Ibercivis brings citizen science to the Los imperdibles festival, held on Saturday 11 June in Otero de Herreros (Segovia). To bring the Servet project closer to attendees we have organised the launch of a helium sounding balloon carrying a capsule.
You can follow it live on Twitch
The festival’s motto is “innovation against depopulation”. Servet has a clear commitment to rural areas by organising activities in small villages of Aragon, bringing science to places where it is not usually present, for example: Agón, Alpartir, Alfamén, Almudévar, Borja and San Mateo de Gállego.
Servet is a project organised by the University of Zaragoza – I3A and the Ibercivis Foundation, with the collaboration of the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology – Ministry of Science and Innovation.
