The “Misión la Estratosfera” project of Colegio Internacional de Granada brings together students from the 2nd year of Bachillerato down to the 2nd year of primary school, together with a team of 5 teachers from different specialities.
Inspired by the experience of Servet VIII, they want to explore the change in the colour of the sky with altitude and its relation to the composition of the atmosphere.
The multidisciplinary project makes use of project and laboratory hours so it can be carried out during school time. It plans to use a probe with cameras and sensors to study the colour of the sky and the gas content. They will also send seeds to observe their post-stratospheric development.
You can find out about all the #SERVETX experiments. Remember that the launches will take place in spring 2024.
